Here is a lil' about my computer, it is a Packard Bell, with windows 95, 233 MHz, 32 MB RAM, 32 KB Cache Memory, 2 MB of video memory, GVCSOUND Sound Card, and 3.23 GB Hard Drive. Please let me know what else I need, what software I can use, etc... it'd be greatly appriciated!
I downloaded the Adobe Premiere tryout 5.0, and I also got the Crack for it, but, I have NO idea how to use the Crack, any help would also be appriciated on that...Thanks!

I know nothing about P.C.'s.But from the spec your supplying your going to struggle a bit.
you need alot more RAM (I had 384megs to run Final Cut Pro It runs really well on that)
A big fast hard drive 20 gigs minimum
A faster processor will help
And a capture card
as for you graphics card I have no idea if its good or bad.
You're going to need a new computer.

Yes I totally agree you'll need to update your hardware (& software?) desperately. Or else you'll never do anything.

it depends on the type of crack that you have for the program, is it a key generator or a replacement exe file?
in the zip file with the crack there will be a readme file, not necessarily with a *.txt extension, but with the name of the cracking team, send the file to notepad it will tell you how to use it.

Hey, here is what it says in the read me file, I can make no sense of it, so, please help me, lol.
Adobe Premiere 5.0 Tryout crack.
Extract premiere.exe to your Adobe Premiere folder.
(Overwrite the existing file)
Then download the version 5.1 upgrade to complete the crack.
Here: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/magic/...5.x/pr51up.zip

basically unzip the *.exe file (the crack) into the directory that you installed premiere into, usually:
c:\program files\adobe\premiere
or somewhere similar (unless you told it to install to a different directory), you will be asked if you want to overwrite the existing file, click yes.
the program is then cracked (i assume that the trial period will be disabled ans that it will not run out ofter thirty days)
then basically download the update file from that address and install it
good luck
hope it helps ya

Capture cards -
I've heard BAAAD things about Hauppauge, but I don't know if they're true. If you've got NO cash, a lot of people recommend the Pinnacle PCTV usb, which is around ?50, but if you can spend more, your best bet will be the Pinnacle Studio DC10+ for about 135GBP, unless you're using a Digital Camcorder, and then I don't know.
I'm expecting a DC10 from the shops, when I've tried it out I'll let you know. One thing on ordering one, try www.price-guide.co.uk, as a few sources turn up.(Don't use Telemart, they suck - I used DABS)
Hard Drive - You will need (apparently) at least 20Gb (that'll be an hour I think), and everyone recommends having a separate hard drive for video, so you'd have your 3Gb for games, sorry, Windows, and the new 900Gb
Hard drive as Drive D (you'll have to make sure your PC is using FAT32 - If your CD Drive letter is D then you probably have), so you run premier from drive C and capture on drive D.
Memory - Get as much as you can, while it's cheap!
Processor - I don't know, but again, get a quicker one if you can.
Sound Card - Some capture cards get sound, but the one I'm after doesn't, so you need a sound card to get the audio.
Software - I've tried premier on mine, and it looks groovy, but the DC10 comes with its own software.
In conclusion, If you have an analogue camcorder of a VCR, then you will only need a capture card to do something. The better your bits, however, the better it will be. If you're not sure, download some movie clips from the net, and see what you can do with them in premier, how well they run etc. As I've said, I'll let you know how mine performs.
Alternatively, get a Mac, provided you don't mind disappearing up your own backside
cheers
Paul
